Description

Jo Malone London has an opportunity for a Retail Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Retail Operations Senior Manager. This role will be based within our Head Office, in Central London. This position is on a part-time basis, working 29.5 hours per week over 4 days.

The Retail Operations Coordinator supports the Retail Operations team in the day-to-day management across Retail Operations, Omni Channel Development, and Fleet & Distribution for stores and online. This role provides essential operational support to Free-Standing Stores (FSS) and the concession estate, ensuring the smooth running of operational processes and policies. The coordinator is responsible for a variety of tasks including day-to-day operational support as well as coordinating key projects across all channels of the business.

Retail Operations

  • Work with Field/Sales teams and Store Managers to drive efficiencies and improve ways of working to prioritize customer experience.
  • Support the delivery of an elevated boutique experience, maintaining the luxury proposition and brand equity.
  • Collaborate with property services & IT on store maintenance approvals and job completion.
  • Manage brand orders for hygiene and stationery through Office Depot & Self Service.
  • Communicate key corporate hygiene and health & safety updates to the Field/Sales team.
  • Coordinate the rapid response protocol for incidents impacting business continuity.
  • Support the Operations Manager with weekly, monthly, and ad hoc operational communications.
  • Manage the flow and frequency of communication from head office to stores and Field Sales team.
  • Advise stores on operational processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Omni Channel Distribution

  • Support the Retail Operations Manager with omni-channel expansion, implementation, and rollout of new initiatives.
  • Assist with all new distribution setups, pre-opening critical path communication across functions, and raising operational orders for equipment and resources for new distribution launches.
  • Support digital teams with onboarding of new retailer/pureplay digital platforms.
  • Work alongside the Omni Operations Manager in new boutique and refit processes, communicating across stakeholders such as RDDC, Store Design, VM, IT, and Maintenance.
  • Update and monitor the door book, identifying opportunities and risks with lease renewals, investments, and profitability.
  • Provide operational support for divestment/closure of boutiques or short-term pop-ups.
  • Contribute operational input into key brand activations and pop-ups.
  • Assist with the rollout of personalization across Bricks & Clicks.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of analytics & visualization tools such as Google Analytics and/or Power BI.

  • Passion for and knowledge of the beauty industry; retail experience is desirable but not essential.
