Description
We are looking for experienced (at least 5 years) Account Manager with high skills of building the relationships with the retailers and excellent ability in negotiation and execution.
The Account Manager is assigned to oversee particular retailers and is representing all ELC brands. Key account management includes sales planning and managing the full commercial relationship between ELC and the retailer\’s buying department. The role will engage in a variety of responsibilities but most important tasks are sell-in, agree on branded coop advertising plans and stock management.
§Build a close relationship with the retailer and its key buyer(s).
§Be point of contact to the retailer\’s buying department.
§Execute different brand strategies with the retailer.
§Drive and develop ELC\’s position with the retailer.
§Think both branded and corporate. Leverage scale across brands where it makes sense.
§Take active part in monthly net sales estimates prepared and delivered.
§Achieve net sales targets per brand per month with a maximum variation of +/-5% (new products and regular sales) and secure that agreed purchases are also ordered.
§Negotiate and deliver yearly sell in targets per retailer.
§Manage and solve issues with the retailer\’s buying department.
§Explore new business opportunities together with the retailer\’s buying department
§Manage return target for KA and create actions in collaboration with brands.
§Monitor sales development (sell-in/sell-out) each month per retailer per channel.
§Work with Customer Service to make sure that orders are received and released in due time.
§Monitor stock rotation on a monthly basis and take action if benchmark is not met.
§Take active part in Brand marketing and sales planning.
§Secure close dialogue with Brand marketing and Sales Manager.
§Organize meetings – internally with the brands and externally with the retailer.
§Delivers input for marketing teams to build the retailer plan across ELC brands.
Qualifications
§ 5 years of experience from similar position in or outside of the industry
§ Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally is key
§ Strong commercial background
§ Strong negotiation skills
§ Must be highly structured and value excellence in execution
§ Goal and performance driven/motivated – fights to reach NS targets
§ Fluent English
§ Power-user in Excel and BI systems, general experience with MS Office
§ Knowledge of SAP system
