OVERVIEW
The Online Trading Assistant Manager for brand.com is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Brand.com by driving product sales, managing campaigns, and enhancing the overall user experience across the site. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure that the site\’s product listings, promotions, and content are updated and optimised to support sales targets and the broader business strategy.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:
Sales & Reporting
- Support the execution of sales strategies for Brand.com, contributing to the growth of sales and market share
- Generate weekly and monthly trade reports, sharing findings with key stakeholders to drive informed decision-making
- Collaborate with the online team on forecasting and adjusting strategies based on sales performance
- Compile and monitor trading results (retail, gross sales, net sales) on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure performance is on track
- Develop and deliver proposals to enhance the performance of the brand, negotiating additional support as needed
- Conduct weekly online audits to ensure consumer experience is of the highest quality and check for any bugs, errors, and needed optimisation
Website Management & Content Execution
- Help implement new product launches and promotional strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Continuously optimise all Brand.com shopping experiences
- Work with the content management system (CMS) to upload content and troubleshoot any issues across the site.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align online content with ongoing campaigns and promotional strategies.
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and maximise sales.
- Monitor performance metrics of marketing campaigns (e.g., CTR, Open Rate, Conversion Rate) and report on key findings
Project Support & Collaboration
- Contribute to special projects, such as seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and website enhancements
- Participate in team meetings to share insights, progress, and recommendations for improving site performance
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, website metrics, and customer behaviour
- Proficiency in CMS platforms, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and basic web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive online sales
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving sales and engagement targets
