As the Trade Marketing Executive you’ll lead and own all aspects of the timely and cost‑effective creation, implementation, and tracking of the Seasonal Gift With Purchase (GWP) program across the year. You’ll be the key contact and owner of the GWP database, maintain the budget, and manage the monthly excess process. Additionally, you will support the Trade Marketing Manager with ad‑hoc retailer requests, retailer briefs, and asset creation during key campaign moments.
Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and monitor the Seasonal Gift With Purchase Programme (Autumn & Spring) in partnership with the Trade Marketing Manager.
- Collaborate with the global promo team to meet UK requirements and ensure global alignment.
- Coordinate forecasting for the seasonal GWP program, obtain leadership sign‑off, and align with global plans.
- Create, manage, and track collateral for all gifts, briefing internal VM teams and external design agencies.
- Partner with the internal design studio to produce assets that meet retailer and digital needs.
- Oversee event creation to guarantee on‑time launches in stores and online.
- Brief the Consumer Engagement team on media support (e.g., paid social, radio) for specific retailers.
- Brief the CRM team on mailers and emails required for seasonal GWP.
- Act as the primary point of contact for field enquiries regarding all seasonal GWP requests.
- Collect feedback from the Sales Field team, develop improvement plans, and implement changes.
- Manage the GWP database across online, product marketing, and sales channels.
- Ensure the database remains within budget and handle excess management on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with the demand team to keep the database accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Allocate excess gifts for new store openings and store events, ensuring budget reflection.
- Attend weekly calls with NAMs and manage briefing/asset requests for retailers during key campaign moments.
- Maintain and update the Beauty Box tracker, supporting order processes with the Demand team.
- Support the Trade Marketing Manager in updating the promotions and trade marketing calendar.
- Own and manage the ‘Gift’ cost centre, keeping the budget on track, raising POs, and maintaining the cost centre monthly.
- Collect accruals from retailers/NAMs and raise associated POs.
- Attend monthly finance calls.
- Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within the beauty sector.
- Strong knowledge of the UK retail landscape and market trends.
- Hands‑on, proactive, flexible, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Result‑driven with a solid understanding of analytics and consumer insights.
- Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Self‑motivated, autonomous, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
