Travel Retail Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) wish to appoint a Sales & Education Executive to manage the day to day activities of Estée Lauder in the UK and Ireland as well as a select number of regional Corporate Airports.
The role will report to the Area Sales & Operations Manager based in the UK and specifically covers UK and Ireland airports, though travel and work elsewhere within the EMEA Region may be required. It is a field-based role with 80% of the time spent in the field. The preferred home location is near a major airport in the north of the UK. This is a particularly autonomous role requiring the selected candidate to work on their own initiative.
About The Role
The role is responsible for the achievement of sales goals through the implementation of the brand and corporate strategy. A strong understanding of the retail environment including setting targets and executing 360 launch programs with excellence is key.
The role involves leading, recruiting, coaching, developing and managing a team of Estée Lauder Counter Managers and Beauty Advisors. The engagement, motivation, and training of the generic staff is also key to the role.
As a Sales and Education Executive you will work closely with the Regional Education Manager to identify and support with the education needs of your team including the execution of branded module trainings both in store and on line.
It is important for the Sales and Education Executive to ensure the brand looks it best at all times by ensuring any Visual Merchandising guidelines are adhered to, maintaining store standards including tester orders, hygiene standards and counter maintenance.
It also involves establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key stake holders including our retail partners, Head Office departments, Education, Visual Merchandising, Digital and HR teams.
Travel Retail is a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The right candidate will possess a positive and energetic approach with an open mind to test and learn new projects and new and better ways of delivering sales objectives. Excellent people management, organisational and leadership skills combined with strong commercial awareness and computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required.
