Position Overview
You will be responsible for executing digital and consumer engagement activities across the Asia‑Pacific region for Travel Retail. The role focuses on building brand awareness and supporting all go‑to‑market online and offline initiatives, while collaborating with key stakeholders who oversee overall performance in TR APAC. A team player who thrives under fast‑paced, dynamic conditions and who is comfortable working with diverse backgrounds and cultures will succeed.
Digital Consumer Marketing
- In charge of monthly retailer boutique site (CN/KR/SEA/JP/HK) banner updates.
- Maintain the SKU database with the Marketing Assistant to ensure accurate online listings, including correct images and descriptions.
- Monthly update new SKUs into the database.
- Maintain a separate “newness” registration database for the Korea market.
- Work with translation agency to optimise communication copy and liaise with each market’s contacts for proofreading.
- Coordinate the launch of new site openings, including full test‑site checks before opening.
- Support new boutique site development and revamp initiatives.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Integrated Marketing teams to execute online‑to‑offline (O2O) digital initiatives and media campaigns that drive consumer engagement and digital outreach.
Event Execution
- Support the team in executing retail events across APAC (Korea primary, secondary focus on Japan/Mid‑pac, Oceania) to drive engagement, conversion, and brand exposure.
- Collaborate with Marketing Executive to synchronise major launch events across markets.
- Coordinate production of merchandising and event collateral with external vendors.
- Prepare post‑event analysis reports.
- Analyse marketing spend and ROI for events.
Product Marketing & In‑Store Support
- Support the Marketing Manager with NPL forecasts for market‑relevant limited collections and samples.
- Manage samples, GWP, and collateral forecast and usage plans.
- Coordinate GWP and collateral production with Marketing Assistant support.
- Manage in‑store VTO updates.
Other / Ad‑hoc
- Assist in planning and execution of bi‑annual Sales Cycle Meetings and marketing presentations, including sell‑through reports for leadership review and category analysis for online/offline channels.
- Ensure timely delivery of creative requests to TR WW.
- Raise purchase requests (PR) for marketing expenses promptly and update the marketing budget tracker regularly.
- Manage deliveries across markets for product and GWP samples with Marketing Assistant support.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferably).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the cosmetics industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (reading/writing).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work across cultures.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Capacity to work independently with excellent time‑management and project‑management skills.
- Solid knowledge of the digital and social media landscape in APAC, with emphasis on China and Korea.
- Basic to advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions) and PowerPoint.
