Description
As the Trade Marketing Executive you'll lead & own all aspects of the timely and cost-effective creation, implementation and tracking of the Seasonal Gift with Purchase program across the year. You'll be the key contact & owner of the GWP Database maintain the budget and manage the monthly excess process. You will also support the Trade Marketing Manager in ad hoc retailer requests, retailer briefs, and asset creation during key campaign moments.
Responsibilities
SEASONAL GIFT WITH PURCHASE (GWP):
- Lead & own the planning & execution of the seasonal Gift With Purchase Programme (Autumn & Spring) with the support of the Trade Marketing Manager.
- Work closely with Global promo team to ensure UK & I needs are being met for GWP programmme.
- Coordinate the forecasting of the seasonal GWP programme with the support of demand and Trade Marketing Manager, getting sign off from Leadership and alignment with Global.
- Manage, create & track all of the collateral elements for all gifts, specifically managing briefing documents to internal VM team & day to day management of external design agencies.
- Work with the internal design studio on asset creation to support the seasonal GWP programme, meeting retailer and digital needs.
- Responsible for the event creation to make sure the GWP launches on time in stores & online.
- Responsible for briefing the Consumer Engagement team on media support required for specific retailers, including paid social, radio etc.
- Briefing the CRM team on mailers and emails required for seasonal GWP.
- Be the main point of contact for field enquiries regarding all seasonal GWP requests.
- Issue and collate all feedback from the Sales Field team and work on the improvement plan where necessary.
Gwp Database & Excess Management
- Manage the GWP database across online, product marketing & sales.
- Ensure the database remains on budget & manage all excess on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with the demand team to ensure the database is up-to-date & well-maintained.
- Manage excess gifts to support new store openings and store events and make sure they’re reflected in budget.
Retailer
- Attend weekly calls with the NAMs.
- Manage briefs & asset requests for Retailers during key campaign moments.
- Own and update the Beauty Box tracker, and support the order process with the help of Demand team.
- Support the Trade Marketing Manager to update the promotions and trade marketing calendar.
Budget
- Own & manage the ‘Gift’ cost centre, ensuring the budget remains on track, all PO’s are raised and cost centre is kept up to date on a monthly basis.
- Collate all accruals from retailers / NAMs and raise any PO’s pertaining to the Trade cost centre.
- Attend monthly call with finance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a marketing role, ideally within beauty
- Strong knowledge of the retail landscape in the UK and market trends.
- Hands-on, proactive, flexible, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Result-driven with a solid understanding of analytics and consumer insights.
- Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, proactive/autonomous and keen to learn in a fast paced environment
- Able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail;
- Excellent computer skills and Microsoft packages
