Overview

Clinique Counter Manager at Boots Llantrisant – 30 hours / 5 days a week. The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting the Brand in driving sales turnover and market share by staying focused on the consumer experience. This role requires delivering brand values, excellent service, and effective local implementation of the brand strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Reflect a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.
  • Maximise sales through selling, excellent service, and retail standards.
  • Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store/Brand/Company procedures and guidelines.
  • Understand daily/weekly targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain awareness of additional sales avenues (events, omnichannel, digital channels).
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify missed opportunities.
  • Utilise social media opportunities to drive the business and protect/enhance the Brand image.
  • Deliver the Brand Strategy with an effective local plan; plan and implement local marketing and events aligned to retailer activity.
  • Ensure service excellence with continuous improvements to service levels and a focus on a positive consumer experience.
  • Act as Brand ambassador; ensure Brand values are represented in store.
  • Manage refunds and complaints per Company guidelines and consult with Area Manager when appropriate.
  • Use digital tools to keep knowledge up to date.
  • Deliver a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base.
  • Develop up-to-date product knowledge to provide an industry-leading experience that meets consumer needs.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent standards (product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, pricing) at all times.
  • Review retail standards daily and maintain them to required standards.
  • Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and related administration are completed within agreed Company timeframes.
  • Follow auditable processes and take corrective action in areas of risk; fulfill information requests accurately and by deadlines.
  • Minimise stock loss by implementing Company Security Policies and Procedures.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment in line with Company and Retailer policies.
  • Achieve a minimum overall health & safety audit grade of \”Acceptable\”.

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment.
  • Ability to drive self-development.
  • Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry.
  • Effective communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
