The role hosts visitors, showcases the world of Jo Malone, and supports the Boutique Manager in running the business, taking control in the manager’s absence.

We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to play a leading role in the success of the store by supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop our team of sales associates to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets. Candidates should have proven supervisory, coaching and retail operations skills gained in a fast‑paced retail environment. Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maximise sales performance and productivity
  • Manage the team, including coaching and scheduling
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Build collaborative relationships across the department store
  • Plan, organise and execute in‑store events
  • Effectively manage stock and inventory
  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards and a positive work environment
  • Complete administrative tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Stay aware of competitor activity and support an omni‑channel approach

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
  • Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast‑paced work environment
  • Experience with retail point‑of‑sale software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
