Job Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share by remaining consumer-focused. They are accountable for achieving this through:
- Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
- Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service, and maintaining retail standards
- Adhering to store, Brand, and Company procedures and guidelines
- Understanding daily/weekly targets
- Staying informed about additional sales avenues like eventing, Omni, and digital channels
- Monitoring competitor activities and missed opportunities
- Leveraging social media to drive business and enhance Brand image
- Delivering the Brand Strategy and local marketing & event initiatives
- Ensuring excellent service levels and creating a culture of surprise and delight
- Representing the Brand values as an ambassador
- Managing refunds and complaints according to guidelines and consulting with the Area Manager as needed
- Utilising digital tools for knowledge updates
- Implementing consumer recruitment and retention strategies
- Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to deliver industry-leading experiences
- Maintaining high standards in product presentation, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing
- Managing stock deliveries, movements, and associated administration
- Following auditable processes and taking corrective actions when necessary
- Fulfilling information requests accurately and on time
- Minimising stock loss by adhering to security policies
- Creating a safe environment for consumers and staff, ensuring health & safety standards
Commerciality
- Managing daily replenishment and taking appropriate actions
- Using commercial reports to inform decisions and maximise sales
- Planning and executing visual merchandising layouts
- Addressing stock issues and informing the Area Manager when necessary
- Managing promotions and discounts per guidelines
- Identifying trends and suggesting enhancements for product performance
Qualifications
