Job Functions:
- Performs a variety of tasks to produce products meeting quality and operational standards.
- Tasks may include assembling finished goods, processing returns, and filling corporate sales orders.
Accountabilities:
- Follow instructions from supervisor and/or Quality Coordinator.
- Observe products during assembly to detect visual imperfections, improper fill levels, incorrect components, and labels.
- Process returns using the Returns System, scanning UPCs, and entering batch information.
- Handle products and components on the assembly line, which may be up to 3ft high.
- Prepare materials for inventory entry via PC and scanner, pack materials, print and attach labels, and seal cartons.
- Pack orders and excess materials into totes and pre-packs as directed.
- Pack products into cartons with bar code scanners, print and insert packing lists, and affix labels.
- Stand or sit for up to 4 hours during a shift.
- Assemble components and finished goods, ensuring quality and quantity standards.
- Follow all safety and GMP practices.
- Assist with training new employees and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience.
- Good communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Basic arithmetic knowledge.
- Availability to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in all Northtec facilities as required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, with heavy physical effort possibly required.
Equipment Used:
- PC, barcode scanners, printer, heat gun, photocopier, calculator, lift assist equipment (pallet jacks, hoists, etc.), and tape machine.
Pay Range: The hourly rate is approximately $12.00, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. The position may be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and more.
