Full time experienced Gardener required for a large private country estate located close to Swaffham, Norfolk. The ideal person will have horticultural qualifications with excellent plant knowledge. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and hardworking to join the established team all working together to maintain this 26 acre garden to the highest standard. The Position will include: Assisting with other work in and around the Hall and generally on the Estate. General gardening duties including, weeding, pruning, restocking, cutting back etc Maintaining herbaceous borders and the sunken garden Hedge cutting Chain saw use – certificate desired Lawn care using large ride on mowers, strimmers, sprayers etc. Maintaining the vegetable garden, greenhouses, fruit cages etc We are looking for a real team player with a really good work ethic. The successful person must be happy working in all weathers and understand what the seasons mean to the garden.
