Apply now and help shape brighter futures for children who need it most.

💼 What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key part in the daily life of our home. You’ll help lead your team on shift, provide hands-on care, and support the young people through their everyday experiences — the highs and the lows.

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
  • Supporting care plans and helping young people achieve their goals
  • Leading by example and supporting junior colleagues on shift
  • Promoting a safe, clean, and happy home environment
  • Encouraging learning, development, and independence in every child
  • Keeping records up to date with care and professionalism
  • Taking part in sleep-in shifts and working a 2-on, 4-off rota (with advance notice)

✅ What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience in residential childcare
  • Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)
  • A full UK driving licence – essential for transporting young people and attending external meetings
  • A calm, resilient, and compassionate approach to care
  • Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins (Rota plan given in advance but likely to be 2 on 4 off)
  • Full, UK driving licence (essential)

Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).

🎁 What You’ll Get:

  • Fully funded Level 3/4/5 Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification
  • Enrolment into the Esland pension scheme
  • 248 hours annual leave per year
  • Extra shifts/overtime available at enhanced rates
  • Bank holidays paid at time and a half
  • Comprehensive, paid induction training (accredited by the Bild Association of Certified Training)
  • Fantastic career development opportunities – over 50 internal promotions last year!
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • £500 ‘Refer a Friend’ bonus
  • Monthly recognition awards
  • Casual dress code
  • Big-brand discounts via our E-Together employee benefits scheme
  • Food available while on shift
  • Free parking
  • A day off for your birthday
  • Free access to a holiday home in the Peak District
  • The opportunity to make a real, lasting difference in a child’s life
