Hours: 2 days on, 4 days off (with sleep nights). We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work. Rotas given in advance.
Salary: £34,000 to £39,000 per year (days) plus sleep‑ins paid at £60.00 per sleep. Opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate.
Essential requirements:- At least 2 years experience in a children's residential care home
- A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential child care
- A full UK driving licence

Pear Tree Cottage is a dual home, offering a smaller setting for two young people who need therapeutic placements in small groups. Our young people receive the highest quality care and support with all their educational and emotional needs as well as engaging in their favourite hobbies and interests.
We are looking for someone who is tenacious and passionate, with the ability to connect with those they meet and build meaningful and productive working relationships. We are passionate about promoting and encouraging independence and life skills for our young people, ensuring that their safety and well‑being underpins every decision we make.

- A minimum of 2 years experience within a Residential Children’s Home (within the last 5 years)
- A minimum of 12 months supervisory experience in a children's residential care home
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- A full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In‑depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person‑centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
