Are you an experienced qualified senior support worker who is looking for a new adventure? Or are you an experienced Children’s Home Deputy Manager looking for more experience in a larger home? Then join our highly valued team and start a truly rewarding career! We are looking for nurturing and supportive people, who can give our children the best quality care and allow them to achieve amazing outcomes.

Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 per year. Sleep ins paid at £60.00 per sleep. Opportunities to pick up overtime.

Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep ins and flexibility to cover shifts when required. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

You will support the manager in the day to day running of the home, mentoring the staff and fostering positive and nurturing relationships with our young people and the staff team.

Essential Requirements
  • A minimum 12 months supervisory experience in a children's residential care home
  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above

We also support our young people with education in a suitable setting that enables them to thrive and reach their full potential.
