Esland is looking for compassionate and committed Children’s Residential Care Workers to join our dedicated teams across our homes. Our homes are located in a variety of residential and semi-rural settings across the UK, providing safe, nurturing environments where children and young people are supported to thrive. Young people enjoy a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, including:

  • Outdoor experiences: Trips to parks, countryside walks, sports activities, rollerblading, cycling, bowling, and community outings.
  • Experiences & days out: Cinema visits, leisure centres, virtual reality experiences, shopping trips, local attractions, and special events.
  • Indoor activities: Baking and cooking, gaming, movies, board games, arts and crafts, puzzles, chess, coding, creative play, and hobbies tailored to individual interests.

We provide a structured, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality care and emotional support, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships through consistency, empathy, and resilience.
  • Work as part of a professional team in a 365-day service, following structured rotas and long shifts (7:30am–11pm), including sleep-in duties.

What You’ll Earn:

  • Annual salary: £34,402 – £35,025 (based on £13.45–£13.75 per hour + 8 sleep-ins per month, dependent on qualifications).
  • Opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and additional shifts.

What You’ll Need:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Aged 21+ with the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
  • Previous experience in childcare or the wider care sector.
