ERM is looking for a highly experienced Technical Safety & Risk Consultant with IACS Cyber Security expertise to be based in one of our UK offices.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects for clients, focusing on identifying and assessing major hazard risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing risk reduction solutions.
You will support ERM proposals and projects by adhering to client requirements and identifying opportunities to evolve services. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Main responsibilities
- Develop bespoke Cyber Security Management Systems for industrial automation and control systems, following UK or international guidance.
- Identify vulnerabilities in control system networks through desktop reviews and site surveys.
- Conduct cyber security risk assessments in accordance with IEC62443, including leading workshops.
- Apply cyber security practices to control and safety systems, with an awareness of Functional Safety and SIL.
- Develop tools and processes for team use, with desirable skills in macros, PowerBI, and coding.
- Implement hazard identification and risk assessment techniques, reading engineering diagrams like P&IDs.
- Participate in workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL, with experience in chairing some workshops.
- Review project deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with ERM standards and client needs.
- Engage in business development by building client relationships and developing proposals.
- Contribute to project work and support functions/techniques for project delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and support team development.
- Maintain client satisfaction through effective communication and engagement.
- Meet personal billability and sales targets.
