Physiotherapy Assistant in Spilsby

Eresby Special School is a specialist Academy for pupils aged 2 to 19 years with a diverse range of highly complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are situated in Spilsby in Lincolnshire and are fortunate to access a wide range of services and providers in our local community, with whom we are proud to work alongside.

The physiotherapy assistant is responsible for delivering individualised physiotherapy interventions according to physiotherapy plans. The post holder will deliver bespoke physiotherapy interventions based on the individual needs of the student. They will support therapy programmes, as well as promoting the physical development and independence of our students. Alongside this, they will work closely alongside multiple partners, including physiotherapists, class teachers, families and other professional partners.

30 hours per week, 39 term time weeks. Permanent role.

We are looking for someone who displays:

• Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
• Paediatric First Aid or willingness to obtain.
• Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities.
• Experience of working collaboratively to support pupils experiencing dysregulation.
• Experience of maintaining accurate and confidential records.
• Experience of adapting activities to meet a range of individual needs.
• Experience of delivering physiotherapy under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
