Envoy Nation, a growing multi‑national Pentecostal Church in Leicester, England, is seeking a Spirit‑filled and passionate Assistant Pastor (Children’s Ministry). The successful candidate must be a born‑again Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit, and committed to the Word of God. This role requires a heart for children, the ability to teach the gospel in engaging and age‑appropriate ways, and an understanding of the Afro‑Caribbean culture (with ability to speak at least one local language desirable). The candidate will lead the Children’s Ministry, discipling children and supporting families in their spiritual journey.
Details of Duties
- Lead and oversee the Children’s Ministry department
- Plan and deliver engaging, Bible‑based programmes for children
- Provide pastoral care to children and their families
- Organise children’s services, holiday clubs, and special programmes
- Develop resources and curriculum for children’s discipleship
- Recruit, train, and support children’s ministry volunteers
- Partner with parents to nurture children’s faith at home
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are upheld
- Collaborate with the pastoral team to integrate children into church life

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- A born‑again, active Pentecostal Christian with a strong prayer life
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children and families
- Proven experience in children’s ministry and pastoral care
- Ability to teach biblical truths in age‑appropriate ways
- Organisational and leadership skills for volunteer management
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Level 6)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in children’s ministry leadership
Additional Notes
- Must be willing to work Sundays and evenings
- On‑call pastoral support may be required
- Occupational requirement: practising Christian (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)
- Expected to make Envoy Nation their home church
