About the role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support statutory and regulatory compliance across the built and land portfolio managed on behalf of Homes England to be based in either our Warrington, Gateshead or Market Harborough office.

You will coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and compliance activities, ensuring inspections, testing and certifications are completed on time and in line with UK legislation and industry best practice.

Responsibilities will include areas such as Gas Safety, Electrical Testing, Legionella, Asbestos and Fire Safety.

Working closely with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders, you will help maintain accurate records, monitor compliance performance and support the delivery of safe, compliant and well-maintained assets.

What you'll be doing Manage statutory compliance programmes including Gas Safety, EICRs, Legionella, Asbestos, Fire Safety, LOLER and PUWER inspections.

Maintain and monitor the compliance register, ensuring inspections, certifications and renewals remain up to date.

Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and coordinate contractors to deliver works safely and efficiently.

Review compliance certificates, service reports and remedial actions, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed timescales.

Produce compliance reports, dashboards and performance data for management and Homes England.

Maintain accurate, audit-ready compliance records and support internal and external audits.

Identify compliance risks, support corrective actions and promote a positive health and safety culture.

Liaise with contractors, site teams, stakeholders and regulatory bodies, providing regular updates on compliance performance.

What we are looking for Essential Experience in facilities management, estates, property, maintenance, compliance or health and safety administration.

Understanding of statutory compliance requirements, including gas, electrical, asbestos, legionella and fire safety regulations.

Ability to interpret technical reports, certificates and compliance documentation.

Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

Desirable IWFM Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

IOSH Managing Safely.

Qualifications or training in areas such as Legionella, Asbestos or Fire Safety.

Experience managing contractors and analysing compliance data, producing management reports and performance information.
