Overview
At The Entertainer, Guildhall Shopping Centre, Exeter, we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. At Christmas, this is no different!
Responsibilities
- Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service
- Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
- Be willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries.
Contract and hours
Reliability and flexibility in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we\\\’re busy. Our stores are open 7 days a week so you will need to be able to support us at the weekends including Sundays.
- A 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts.
- A 20-hour per week contract: you may typically be working 4-hour shifts over 5 days.
Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.
16-20 year olds – £11.00 per hour. 21-year-old plus – £12.21 per hour
Notes
The hours available are for this store; you should be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week. There may also be an opportunity for you to work extra hours in this role, depending on trade. Our Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts will include working on peak days such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year\\\’s Eve.
