Overview

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be:

  • Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we\’re busy
  • Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service
  • Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
  • Willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space
  • Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries

About the role

At The Entertainer, Hemel Hempstead, The Marlowes Shopping Centre, we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. At Christmas, this is no different! With a love of toys, customer service and an enthusiastic personality, you could be the perfect match to join our team as a Seasonal Sales Assistant.

Key information

  • Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds – £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus – £12.21 per hour
  • Contract end date: 3rd January 2026
  • Our stores will be open 7 days a week, you will need to be able to support us at the weekends including Sundays
  • Hours available: 12-hour per week contract (you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts). Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week
  • There may be an opportunity to work extra hours depending on trade
  • All Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts require working Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve
