This position is based at our Head Office. You must live within a reasonable distance to the office or be willing to relocate by the role commencement date. This is a Mat over Role.
Job Purpose
Working in our busy Supply Chain team based in our Head Office in Amersham, you will be responsible for managing the flow of import and export documentation for all International shipments. You will be working closely with other departments including buying, quality assurance, finance and our international operations and merchandising teams. You will be a commercially aware individual with previous experience within a relevant Import/export environment. You will quickly gain a good understanding of systems and processes and have strong communication skills. You will need to combine your commercial knowledge and awareness of our international operations with a natural ability to build working relationships and deliver first-class service to our partners.
Skills & Experience
- Ideally minimum of one year’s exposure in a relevant import operation.
- Understanding of import documentation requirements.
- Commercially aware with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing necessary import documentation for all International shipments leaving our Distribution Centers.
- Responsible for organising imports from the EU.
- Working with relevant internal teams to collate key information from the necessary departments to ensure the smooth dispatch of goods.
- Liaising with DCs, shipping companies and international partners to organise the collection of goods.
