Overview
At The Entertainer, Chester Broughton Shopping Park, we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. At Christmas, this is no different! With a love of toys, hard work and with enough energy to keep our store full and priced ready for the next day\’s trade, you could be the perfect match to join our team as an Evening Seasonal Sales Assistant.
Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we\\\’re busy! – Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team – Be willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries.
The contracted hours we have available for this role are based on starting work late afternoon, and working into the evening up to as late as 11pm. You must be able to get to and from the retail park safely and independently.
Responsibilities

- Move stock around the store, work with deliveries and pallets both independently and as part of a team.
- Be willing and able to help out in the local Tesco concession space.
Contract and hours
A 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts.
A 20-hour per week contract: you may typically be working 4-hour shifts over 5 days.
Hours are late afternoon into the evening, up to 11pm. You must be able to travel to and from the retail park safely and independently.
Rates, duration and schedule
Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds – £11.00 per hour. 21-year-old plus – £12.21 per hour. Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.
There may also be an opportunity to work extra hours in this role, depending on trade. You will be required to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Years Eve as part of all Evening Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts.
