Join to apply for the Creative Social Media Volunteer role at The Enterprise Academy. Help us grow The Enterprise Academy’s online presence! We run fun, empowering workshops for young people and need a creative social media volunteer to craft engaging posts, share our impact stories, and inspire more students to get involved.
The Enterprise Academy delivers inspiring, hands-on workshops that teach young people essential life skills, from public speaking and enterprise to financial education. We’re growing quickly and want to share our impact with more schools and communities across the UK. Your creativity will help us do just that. By managing our social media presence, you’ll shine a light on the stories, smiles, and successes that happen in our sessions every week. Your posts will help more teachers discover our workshops, more parents understand what we do, and more students feel excited to take part. This role will play a key part in expanding our reach, building credibility, and creating a consistent, engaging online voice that reflects our mission to empower young people to believe in their potential.
You’ll be helping a small, passionate team make a bigger impact, one post, one story, and one inspired young mind at a time.
What are we looking for?
- Someone who genuinely loves creating content that connects with people.
- Creative and authentic – enjoys coming up with fresh ideas for posts, reels, and stories that feel real and human.
- Organised and reliable – can plan ahead, schedule posts, and stay consistent with our tone and values.
- Curious and proactive – enjoys learning about what we do and finding engaging ways to share it with others.
- Social media savvy – confident with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and aware of trends that suit an educational, youth-focused audience.
- Positive and friendly – believes in making a difference and wants to use their creativity for good.
Experience in content creation, marketing, or design would be a bonus, but heart and enthusiasm go a long way here. We’re a small, purpose-led organisation, so your ideas will be valued, your creativity will have freedom, and your work will make a visible impact.
What will you be doing?
We’re looking for a passionate and hands-on social media manager to help The Enterprise Academy connect with more young people, schools, and parents. You’ll create engaging content (graphics, reels, stories, and posts) that reflect our friendly, empowering vibe. Whilst we completely understand the positive impact AI can have in scheduling posts, we would not want our content to be AI-generated, as we believe real posts are the best way to connect with our community.
Key tasks include:
- Creating and scheduling posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Sharing highlights from our workshops and success stories from students.
- Helping to grow our followers organically through creative ideas.
- Managing basic ad campaigns to boost reach for key events or projects.
- Tracking engagement and suggesting ideas to improve our presence.
This is a remote volunteer role with plenty of creative freedom. You’ll be part of a small, purpose-driven team making a real difference in young people’s confidence, skills, and aspirations.
