Keelby Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a Premises Manager starting September 2026. The fundamental part of the role will be premises management and health & safety compliance. This involves maintenance and security of the building and grounds, ensuring a clean, welcoming, safe and secure environment for pupils, staff and visitors, and maintaining full compliance with current health and safety legislation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and secure building and grounds.
- Ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Perform routine maintenance including painting, decorating, DIY and general repairs.
- Support meetings, special events and parents' evenings as required.
- Attend emergencies outside of school hours; a full driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Premises/Site Manager or in the building trade is desirable.
- Good ICT, literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record keeping.
- Ability to relate well with children and staff, interacting in a friendly and positive manner.
