About us
Our academy is a 2-form entry school, and we currently have 405 pupils on roll; this includes FTE place Nursery provision for 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds. As part of The Enquire Learning Trust, we work collaboratively with other academies and share best practice to enhance provision and transform the culture of learning and teaching.

About the role
The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Duties will include cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and shared areas, as well as ensuring cleaning supplies are used and stored safely. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the school and creating a welcoming environment for learning.
What we are looking for
We are seeking to appoint a dependable and dedicated cleaner to work collaboratively within our academy’s premises/cleaning team. Full details of the responsibilities, duties and tasks, skills and functions are detailed in the Job Description (please see Section 5). This is an exciting opportunity for the right person with the following qualities/abilities:
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow health and safety procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)
