Are you passionate about creating a positive lunchtime experience for children? Broughton Primary is looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated catering team from 5th January 2026. Working at Broughton Primary is rewarding and challenging, but most of all never dull. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for pupils
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and hygienic
- Wash up and clean kitchen equipment and utensils
- Follow health and safety guidelines and food hygiene standards
- Support the cook and other team members with daily tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude and a strong team ethic
- Good communication skills and a friendly manner with children
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – training will be provided
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
