Middlethorpe Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a Premises Manager for September 2026. The fundamental part of the role is premises management and health & safety compliance. This includes the maintenance and security of the building and grounds, ensuring that the site is clean, welcoming, safe and secure for pupils, staff and visitors, and that health and safety legislation is fully complied with.

You must be willing to undertake routine maintenance, including painting and decorating, DIY and general repairs. You will also be required to support meetings, special events and parents' evenings, where flexibility is essential. The Premises Manager is expected to attend to emergencies outside of school hours, so a full driving licence is essential.

Previous experience as a Premises/Site Manager, or in the building trade, is desirable. You should have good ICT, literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record‑keeping, and be able to relate well to children and staff, interacting with them in a friendly and positive manner.
