About the Role

The purpose of the Club Managers (CMs) role is to drive increased levels of performance and effectiveness in our sports clubs. This role blends administrative duties with Gymnastics coaching during term time, Saturday mornings, and being a camp director during the school holidays.

Please note, you MUST hold a Gymnastics coaching Level 2 qualification to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Update our booking system (via Pembee), preparing them in advance for upcoming club courses and camps.
  • Schedule coaches to appropriate clubs and classes we provide.
  • Act as the first point of contact for coaches and ensure that all staff understand their duty of care.
  • Liaise with families and clients (schools), handle queries and communicate feedback to coaches.
  • Supervise staff performance, providing training and support as needed.
  • Monitor the performance of the clubs and classes and report in our meetings.
  • Promote clubs and classes to potential clients and encourage continued participation.
  • Chase outstanding payments.
  • Provide 5–10 hours per week of coaching gymnastics during after/before school clubs (term time) and coach evening and Saturday morning classes.
  • Schedule all camps in your area (school holidays only).
  • Collaborate with the chairman and operations manager to promote understanding of how each department can support the other.
  • Operate as Camp Director at one of our Camp England holiday camps, ensuring the smooth running of the camps (school holidays only).

  • Administrative skills to manage schedules, reports, and other documentation efficiently.
  • Enjoy working with children and know how to manage behaviour.

The company has been coaching children in sports since 1991. Today, England Sports Group provides coaching for children in clubs, holiday camps, and classes at over 70 venues in Surrey and SW London with sports including gymnastics, tennis, netball, football, rugby, basketball, archery, and dance among others.
