Engineering Trust Training (ETT) is a small organisation with a big impact, and we're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team.

Whether you're a recent college or university graduate looking to start your career in marketing or communications, or you already have some experience in a similar role, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for someone with fresh ideas, a willingness to learn and the confidence to get involved in all aspects of marketing.

As part of a small team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, help shape our marketing approach and take ownership of delivering engaging campaigns across a variety of channels.

You'll create content, manage social media, support events, maintain our website and help promote the fantastic work we do across the engineering and education sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of ETT's multi-channel marketing and communications strategy.
  • Create engaging content for a range of audiences, including social media posts, videos, photography, blogs, newsletters and promotional materials.
  • Manage ETT's social media platforms, planning and publishing regular content while monitoring engagement and responding where appropriate.
  • Coordinate digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising and email marketing.
  • Maintain and update website content, ensuring information is accurate, engaging and accessible.
  • Promote apprenticeship opportunities, training programmes, employer services and corporate events.
  • Capture content at events, learner activities and employer visits.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all marketing materials reflect ETT's brand, values and tone of voice.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to identify marketing opportunities and success stories.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to tailor content for different audiences.
  • Creativity and confidence in producing engaging digital content.
  • Experience using social media platforms in a professional capacity.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and content creation tools (experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar would be advantageous).
  • A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
