About The Role
As a Managed Print Engineer, you play a pivotal role in our print installation and service team. Your responsibilities include maintaining service benchmarks, identifying process improvements, and working closely with the Managed Print Service Manager to shape the future of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Managed Print Service Manager
- Stay updated on industry trends and Flotek technologies
- Provide world‑class service at all times
- Deliver Managed Print installation projects on time and within budget
- Communicate with clients and internal project managers
- Conduct hands‑on and remote technical troubleshooting
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation for handover to support teams
- Deliver product training to end users and internally at Flotek
- Install 3rd‑party software applications on partner PC and server devices
- Ensure effectiveness of print management reporting applications at partner sites
- Mentor and support the growth of aspiring Managed Print Engineers
What We're Looking For
- A positive, can‑do attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a managed print delivery/service role in a technology business
- Technical ability to diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
- Experience using a CRM to log installation/service notes
- A partner‑focused mindset to understand and identify user needs
- Experience with Konica Minolta and Lexmark desirable
- Experience with secure print/papercut administration desirable
- Excellent organisational skills and prioritisation ability
- Strong external partner liaison skills
- Willingness to travel to partner sites across the UK
- Full UK driving licence
