About The Job This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Technician to provide hands-on support to our Electronic Design Engineers in testing and fault-finding cutting-edge technology on a daily basis. Salary Circa £33,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working The majority of this role will require on-site presence. However, where opportunities arise, dynamic working will be supported. Security Clearance British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The role involves supporting design, testing, fault finding, qualification, trials, and data analysis, offering scope for career growth within the Production Design Support function. What We Are Looking For From You Ideally HNC qualified or above in a relevant electronics/electrical discipline, with strong understanding of electronics and basic maths. Experience in a design environment and development process. Experience in production support is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with test and fault-finding on technologies including analogue, digital, RF, optical, and safety, using oscilloscopes, waveform generators, dataloggers, and spectrum analyzers. Understanding of development processes, logistics of kitting parts, and prototyping. Good report writing skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
