A growing renewable energy organisation is seeking a Solar O&M Technician to support the operation and maintenance of roof-mounted commercial scale solar and battery storage assets across the region. The business develops, constructs and maintains large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK and internationally, with a substantial portfolio of operational solar and battery assets.
In this role, you will act as a key technical contact responsible for maintaining safe, compliant and high-performing sites. Duties include preventative and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, reporting and supporting safe systems of work. The position offers a mix of site-based and remote working, collaborating closely with control engineers and asset operations teams. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, autonomy and outdoor working within the growing low-carbon sector. Participation in a weekend on-call rota is required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, communications, security and structural systems
