We’re working with a leading renewable energy company who are looking to add an experienced Operations & Maintenance Electrician to their team. This is a hands-on role carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multi-MW ground mount solar farms and large commercial rooftop PV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing and fault-finding on solar PV installations
  • Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs to restore system performance
  • Perform electrical testing, commissioning and reporting
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
  • Work effectively as part of a field-based O&M team

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition (essential)
  • Proven experience working on large scale solar PV systems
  • Proven experience with BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • High standards of safety and professionalism
  • Right to work in UK is essential for this role
