We’re working with a leading renewable energy company who are looking to add an experienced Operations & Maintenance Electrician to their team. This is a hands-on role carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multi-MW ground mount solar farms and large commercial rooftop PV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine inspections, servicing and fault-finding on solar PV installations
- Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs to restore system performance
- Perform electrical testing, commissioning and reporting
- Ensure work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
- Work effectively as part of a field-based O&M team
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition (essential)
- Proven experience working on large scale solar PV systems
- Proven experience with BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills
- Full UK driving licence
- High standards of safety and professionalism
- Right to work in UK is essential for this role
