We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Contract) to support the delivery of business and technology change initiatives. The role is UK-based and remote, working across stakeholders to elicit, analyse, document, and manage business requirements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
The ideal contractor will be comfortable working in fast‑paced environments, able to operate independently, and experienced across the full change lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements using appropriate techniques
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements
- Produce high‑quality documentation (BRDs, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria)
- Support solution design and ensure traceability from requirements to delivery
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Support Agile and/or Waterfall delivery processes where applicable
- Manage scope, change requests, and requirement prioritisation
- Support UAT planning, test execution, and defect resolution
- Provide ongoing stakeholder communication and status updates
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a contract capacity
- Strong requirements elicitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working on business change, system implementation, or transformation programmes
- Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and senior audiences
- Experience producing clear, concise, and structured documentation
- Self‑starter with the ability to work autonomously in remote environments
- Experience working on digital, data, ERP, or system integration projects
- Background in regulated or complex environments
- Tools experience (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Miro)
- Fully remote (UK-based contractors only)
- Occasional UK travel may be required
- Immediate or short‑notice availability preferred
