Trainee Recruitment Consultant – 3‑Month Fast‑Track Programme
Learn from a top‑performing MD still on the tools. We’re looking for people with drive, ambition and a proper sales mindset. If you’ve got around a year in sales or recruitment and you’re hungry for more – more money, more responsibility, more progression – this is where you’ll get it.
We are launching a hands‑on trainee programme for people who want a real career in recruitment, not just a job. For the first 3 months, you’ll learn everything you need to run a high‑performing contract desk: sales, sourcing, negotiation, client development, and how to build a book of contractors from scratch. You won’t be left on your own. You’ll be trained directly by the team and our MD, someone with 15 years in the contract market and over £5m in personal billings. He’s still on the tools every day, so you’ll be learning from someone who actually does the job, not someone who used to.
Commission: Average placement £500 GPPW (i.e. 2K GPPW is 4 placements). Uncapped. Earn what you put in.
Your first 3 months:
- Daily support and coaching from the team and the MD
- Learning how to run a contract desk from scratch
- High‑activity sales training: calls, outreach, lead generation
- How to find, qualify and place contractors
- How to negotiate, influence and close
What we’re looking for:
- Hungry, ambitious people who want to progress
- Competitive personalities who like winning
- Resilient characters who don’t fold when things get tough
- Confident communicators who enjoy speaking to people
- Minimum 12 months in sales or recruitment
Once you’re up and running:
- Running your own contract desk
- Winning business and filling urgent roles
- Building relationships with clients and contractors
- Growing your own contractor base (and your commission)
The reality: You’ll hear “no” a lot. You’ll be pushed. You’ll have targets. You’ll be on the phone a lot. If that motivates you, you’ll do well here.
