Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support high-quality commercial insight, performance analysis and decision support. This is a true Finance Business Partner role, not a reporting or management accounting position. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted advisor, driving financial insight, and supporting strategic, commercial and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, ICAS) with hands-on understanding of financial processes across Investments/Funds/AuM.
Purpose of the Role
- Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to the leadership team
- Provide clear financial insight, analysis and challenge to support decision-making
- Own forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting across the portfolio
- Analyse profitability, cost drivers, trends and variances
- Support strategic initiatives and investment business cases

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to support commercial decisions
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting cycles
- Deliver management information, analysis and insight
- Perform profitability, cost and variance analysis
- Track and explain performance—AuM, flows, fee revenue, KPIs, cost trends and profitability—highlighting what matters most.
- Support pricing decisions and strategic initiatives
- Challenge assumptions and highlight risks and opportunities
- Maintain strong financial control and governance
Experience & Qualifications Required
- Proven Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance experience
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical capability
- Fund management experience and working knowledge of relevant regulation
- Strong Excel and modelling skills
