ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Solar Energy Instructor to lead and deliver high-quality training programmes in solar power systems and renewable energy technologies. The ideal candidate will bring 10–15 years of proven experience in teaching, training, or implementing solar energy projects, with a strong background in both technical expertise and instructional delivery. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and facilitating comprehensive solar energy courses that align with current industry standards, sustainability goals, and emerging technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver engaging and practical training sessions on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, design, installation, maintenance, and safety practices.
- Develop and update training materials, curricula, and assessments to reflect the latest trends and innovations in solar energy.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to participants, ensuring competency-based learning outcomes are achieved.
- Conduct hands-on workshops, field demonstrations, and classroom lectures tailored to diverse learning audiences.
- Evaluate trainees’ performance, provide constructive feedback, and support their career development in the renewable energy sector.
- Collaborate with other instructors and industry partners to ensure course relevance and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all training activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10–15 years of professional experience in solar energy systems design, installation, or training delivery.
- Demonstrated success in developing and teaching solar energy or renewable energy training programmes.
- Strong understanding of solar PV system components, energy storage, grid integration, and emerging solar technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Industry certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with adult learning principles and training program accreditation processes is an advantage.
