An immediate requirement has arisen for an Interim Finance Director / Head of Finance to join a market-leading technology business, part of a listed PLC group, providing leadership cover during a transition period. Reporting to the CEO and Group CFO, you'll join the Executive Management Team and take ownership of a c.£40m turnover international business with operations across the UK, US and Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partner to the CEO and Group CFO
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Oversee monthly reporting and financial performance
- Lead and support a finance team of five
- Drive process, systems and ERP improvements
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance
- Partner with engineering and R&D teams, providing financial oversight of development activities
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Previous experience operating at Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller level
- Experience within a technology, software, advanced engineering or R&D-led business is essential
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK/US GAAP
- Experience within multi-entity, international organisations
- Comfortable operating at Executive Team level and able to make an immediate impact
- Local to Oxfordshire/within commutable distance
