Working: 3 days in the office (Tues, Weds, Thurs), 2 working from home

Location: Central London

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing professional to build a career in the Private Equity Industry. You will be the stand alone Marketing resource, helping to attract new investment, and to inform existing investors about their portfolio progress. There is a blank canvas, for you as a driven and passionate marketer, to make your mark. Work closely with the head of Investor Relations, to deliver a website rebuild, create and implement a new Marketing Plan and build excellent relationships across the business. The Role

  • Create a Marketing strategy that reflects and delivers the goals of the business
  • Plan and Project Manage the website rebuild, working closely with a web design agency
  • Develop and deliver a range of social media plans, across platforms and campaigns
  • Perform consistent competitor analysis, and research marketing trends more widely, to bring fresh ideas to the table that expands our impact
  • Stay updated on the latest design tools, platform developments and digital best practices, and help optimise internal processes and efficiencies

Content Creation

  • Create engaging content focused on our investment portfolio updates; for current and prospective clients, portfolio companies and management teams, and intermediaries
  • Work across Marketing channels; LinkedIn, website, email, Investor Relations Documentation and any other channels if required
  • Create and adapt Investor Reports, proposals and pitches to appeal to our target audience
  • Create content from conferences including the Annual Investor meeting, work closely with a production company
  • Photography and video editing skills required, to create engaging content
  • Maintain and update marketing materials, presentations, credentials and other corporate documentation to ensure content remains accurate and current
  • Maintain an organised library of approved assets; templates, images and brand materials

PR / Events / Email

  • Work with your manager on 3-4 press releases per year, when significant investment decisions are made
  • Attend and assist with the Annual Investor event, and attend other events if required
  • Organise the email database with a tagging system, utilising the new CRM software, and create email campaigns to attract investor’s interest

Teamwork / Events

  • Build excellent relationships across the business, to gather marketable ideas, and shine a spotlight on the partners to raise the company profile
  • Report on key engagement metrics such as followers, likes, comments and views, analysing insights and actioning changes to drive growth

The Person

  • Two years+ Marketing experience, focused on digital and social media
  • Experience or a strong interest in the investment industry is preferred
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Strategic mind, to create customer focused and engaging Marketing content
  • Creative to deliver creative content (text, image and video), in house as much as possible
  • Experience of online marketing channels; LinkedIn and Email
  • Working experience of using Canva, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar)
  • Creative to bring new ideas to the table
  • Photography and Video editing skills are required
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
