Build a best-in-class demand generation function within a growing legal technology business. You will play a key role in transforming the marketing funnel, to firstly significantly increase the number of leads coming into the funnel; and secondly increase the number of conversions.

Team Overview
Head of Marketing, with a small team of Product and Content Marketers.
The Role
Build a demand engine aligned to commercial targets and product priorities. Improve lead generation, lead nurturing, pipeline conversion and revenue contribution. You will bring structure, energy and commercial acumen, to help the business move from ad hoc activity to a more structured approach.
Demand Generation Strategy
- Build the demand generation strategy for inbound, outbound and nurture, aligned to commercial targets
- Translate commercial targets into pipeline, MQL and conversion goals
- Work with Sales Team to target key accounts
Campaign Development and Execution
- Develop and execute multi-channel Account Based Marketing campaigns across content, paid media, SEO and events
- Lead full campaign management from planning through to execution and optimisation
- Work closely with product marketing on positioning and campaign messaging
Funnel Performance and Conversion
- Improve conversion across the funnel from MQL to SQL to closed revenue
- Analyse where leads drop off and implement changes to improve performance
- Increase the effectiveness of free trial and subscription conversion activity
- Support stronger cross-sell opportunities across the product suite
- Work with the sales team to target priority accounts and personas
- Improve the planning, targeting and measurement of events activity
Data, Reporting and Optimisation
- Define and track key metrics across demand generation, pipeline and revenue
- Build suitable reporting frameworks
Teamwork
- Work closely with sales, product and subject matter experts
- Collaborate on website development, channel strategy, social media and messaging
- Manage agencies where needed
The Person
- 5 to 7+ years’ experience in demand generation or B2B marketing
- Proven experience building pipeline in B2B or B2C environments
- Experience in fast-paced, growth-focused businesses
- Ideally experience in SaaS, data, regulated-tech or PE-backed environments, though this is not essential
- Experience owning campaigns and demand generation across multiple channels
- Experience improving funnel performance and pipeline conversion
- Experience working closely with sales and product teams
- Excellent commercial acumen, data analytics and stakeholder management
- Comfortable with AI and new tools
