Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 60 extraordinary suites set over 8 floors and a spectacular penthouse occupying the entire 9th floor.
As Night Manager, you will represent management at night, maintain standards by liaising with all hotel departments to ensure efficiency, and assuring the security of all guests and the Hotel. Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- To represent management for The Emory during the night and be responsible for all staff on site.
- To head and take part in the efficient running of the Guest Services, enforcing Policies and procedures of The Emory.
- To be fully conversant with Opera Cloud and follow LQA/Forbes/Maybourne standards of work for the Front Office.
- Deal with any guest complaints promptly, efficiently and ensure appropriate service recovery when needed.
- Ensure all complaints are recorded in Knowcross.
- Build strong working collaboration across night teams, develop and motivate team for success.
- Work towards achieving team and hotel objectives.
- Resolve any team disputes and escalate where necessary.
- To liaise with the late housekeeper to ensure that sufficient vacant clean rooms are available for possible walk-in rooms, and that night cleaning schedules are carried out keeping the hotel always clean.
- Walk and check public areas.
- To welcome and escort guests to their suites ensure that all hotel and in room facilities are explained to LQA/Forbes and Maybourne standard.
- To ensure financial reports are accurate and sent on daily basis, to run the night audit in Opera Cloud.
- Be fully conversant with Health and Safety Policy.
