Head Bartender
The Emory
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Head Bartender to join The Emory Bar & Bar 33 department team at The Emory.
This role will be part of the Bars Team of The Emory, which encompasses two unique bars. Bar 33 has an unparalleled 360-degree view of the capital, the hotels spectacular rooftop will be the jewel in its crown an entirely private, sweeping space dedicated to hotel guests only designed by Remi Tessier. The Emory Bar, a welcoming contemporary space to enjoy cocktails, coffee and a selection of dishes from our restaurant, abc kitchens. Featuring mid-century inspired decor in a warm, inviting palette, the bar flows naturally into our Courtyard where the tables are framed by a sprawling-stained glass piece by acclaimed artist, Brian Clarke.
The Maybourne is proud to introduce a new architectural landmark to London. The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers,The Emorywill be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 61 contemporary suites set over nine floors.
As aHead Bartender,you willbe responsible for creating a welcoming and friendly guest experience whilst maintaining high levels of bar serviceat all times. You will provide an excellent level of customer service and prepare and mix drinks in line with the department standards and will work in line with the Weights and Measures Act and also the Licensing Law.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Ensure guest experience is optimum through focusing on product quality and innovation, service knowledge and execution and atmosphere through housekeeping and maintenance.
- Ensure that Management is kept well informed of any problems/queries that have risen.
- Have in depth knowledge of Classic cocktails and theyre history.
- Keep in touch with industry trends and ensure that the bars at The Emory product are in line/ahead of
- Carry out the requisition process when required.
- Consistently deliver excellent LQA and Forbes standard levels of service to ensure complete satisfaction of internal and external customers.
