A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Concierge to join the opening Guest Liaison team at The Emory. The Maybourne is proud to introduce a new architectural landmark to London. The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, The Emory will be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 60 extraordinary suites set over 8 floors and a spectacular penthouse occupying the entire 9th floor.
As a Concierge you will be passionate about creating the most unique and memorable stay experiences for our guests. As an excellent and confident communicator, you will have the ability to interact with guests and make them feel welcome and cared for during their stay at The Emory.
Main responsibilities of the Concierge include, but are not limited to:
- Assist guests with all queries about hotel facilities as well as events and upcoming functions.
- Confidently make recommendations to guests in regard to any sightseeing tours, food & beverage outlets, shopping opportunities and local attractions.
- Ensure clear communication is maintained between Guest Services and Guest Liaison to ensure a smooth running of the Front Office operations.
- Assist the Guest Liaison Manager with the daily administration and coordination of mail and parcels.
- Ensure internal and external guest bookings are made in a timely manner and according to our guests' needs and expectations.
- Liaise with the Fleet Service department to organise transportation for our guests when required.
- Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
Successful candidates for our Concierge opportunity will need to be well-presented, have excellent communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner. We anticipate applicants will have previous experience as a Concierge and will have worked in a luxury hotel environment. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, a professional and welcoming personality and excellent communication skills.
