Job Purpose

Help achieve annual online revenue goals by turning website visits into sales and improving opportunities for cross‑selling to boost profitability. You will be responsible for driving online bookings, improving conversion rates, and ensuring our digital presence delivers a seamless and compelling customer journey. The role covers responsibility for Emirates Holidays in‑market brand (B2C) for our websites in the UK and Ireland.

Job Outline

  • Contribute to online sales plans and to the development and management of an effective online marketing plan across all company brands to ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved.
  • Liaise with the product and commercial/pricing teams to ensure the optimal promotional inventory, ensuring the right offers are displayed at the right time in the right place – for example popular destinations, hotels, ancillary and value‑add offers, etc.
  • Work alongside the marketing and brand team to ensure all promotions are integrated across online and offline media, activity is supported with suitable collateral such as landing pages and that all stakeholders are updated and aligned.
  • Evaluate and learn from all campaigns and strategies deployed by self and competitors, seek continuous improvement and contribute to the website's design look and feel.
  • Be responsible for the optimisation of the websites to drive conversion in terms of customer journey, usability, stickiness, content and SEO.
  • Take the lead and responsibility for an E‑commerce development strategy and work as part of the e‑commerce management team to achieve customer excellence and the achievement of business and team targets.
  • Implement business and social media strategies to boost SEO traffic.

Conversion & Performance Optimisation

  • Continuously improve conversion rate (CRO) through testing and optimisation.
  • Run A/B tests on landing pages, journeys and content.
  • Analyse drop‑off points and customer behaviour.

Digital Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing on SEO, PPC, email and paid social.
  • Optimise landing pages and funnels to maximise ROI.
  • Support campaign launches and promotional activity.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on key KPIs: traffic, conversion, revenue, AOV.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics to generate insights.
  • Make data‑driven recommendations and act on them.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing and Customer Service teams and act as the go‑to person for all things e‑commerce.
  • Liaise with Legal to ensure compliance is maintained and accurate for all sites, delivering development requirements to support.

Qualification

  • Degree/Diploma in Digital Marketing.
  • Relevant experience in a hands‑on e‑commerce role (ideally travel, hospitality or similar) and in building and maintaining website pages and merchandising content.
  • Experience in using content management systems/HTML, basic Adobe and Microsoft programmes and using a CMS to administer website content.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Photoshop, image editing and development language, and online copywriting experience.
  • Strong understanding of CRO, UX and digital trading.
  • Experience managing CMS and booking platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of SEO, PPC and digital marketing channels.
  • Highly analytical with a commercial mindset.
  • Someone proactive, practical and with excellent project management ability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Staff can only apply if they have completed a minimum of 1 year's service in the Company.
  • Staff can apply if they have been in their current position for at least 1 year.
  • Staff who moved to their current position following a lateral transfer may apply at any time.
