To manage a defined mixed portfolio of corporate and special segment clients with accountability for Emirates overall sales performance for POS UK.
Build relationships, develop and implement effective sales and marketing initiatives/plans with assigned accounts to increase Emirates market share and revenue.
To identify, evaluate and capitalize on new business opportunities within the portfolio and market segment.
To negotiate, manage and follow up incentive agreements with corporate/leisure clients and review/assess performance on a minimum quarterly basis.
To account manage all activity with assigned accounts, and ensure the effective dissemination and communication of Emirates developments to assigned clients.
To closely monitor portfolio sales performance and forward trend data and recommend action where necessary to protect and maximize revenue and ensure the Sales Managers are kept well informed of assigned portfolio performance, market feedback, conditions, trends and competitor activities and make recommendations as appropriate to protect the overall interest and the profitability of the airline.
To actively engage with clients within the portfolio and maintain the required call frequency basis to build and maintain strong commercial relationships, and maintain necessary records in salesforce.com, including sales call visits, topics discussed, agreements achieved.
To ensure virtual engagement with assigned accounts, by designing and delivering webinars to agency staff, lead road shows to actively engage and connect with the agents and to introduce EK product and services.
Promote & position Emirates corporate and leisure products including special segments (marine, humanitarian, cruise, student, MICE).
To act as an ambassador for the company and attend industry functions, trade events, conferences and familiarization trips to establish contacts, network and promote the interests of Emirates in and out of office hours as required.
To conduct Emirates product and fares training as required to ensure that assigned agents are kept up to date with all Emirates products/services.
Monitor and assess agent for any credit worthiness risks using available tools (RDOC, CRM AI app) and aim to mitigate risks as effectively as possible.
Education: Educated to Graduate or ‘A’ Level standard or equivalent.
Experience: Must have experience in field sales and all aspects of the airline sales environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to source new business opportunities and manage high revenue potential accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Knowledge of digital workplace tools.
- Knowledge of reservations, fares and ticketing.
- Knowledge of Emirates’ products and services.
- Ability to maintain and interpret sales data/statistics.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent presentation and communications skills.
- Valid full Driving License is essential.
