As a Front Desk Assistant, you represent the first impression many of our patients and families have of The Emily Program. This is a unique position due to the special patient population served, and requires a range of skills, including but not limited to:

Schedule: Part-Time (Around 10 hours per week) Thursday and Friday Evening Shifts (4 to 5 hours) Additional hours available per department need.

Location: RTP Child, Adolescent, and Adult Inpatient and Residential Treatment Center (Stirrup Creek Drive, Durham, NC)

Compensation Disclosure: Starting hourly range between $15-17 per hour. Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position.

How Front Desk Assistants Empower Recovery:

  • Provide a positive environment for supportive, recovery-based treatment.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for the company, including incoming phone calls, vendors, patients and visitors.
  • Ensure patients and visitors who arrive are escorted to correct locations.
  • Assist in the check-in process for medical appointments.
  • Manage front desk check-in process through LobbyGuard system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years experience in a front desk or administrative position required.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience in an inpatient/hospital setting strongly preferred.
