Responsible for underwriting commercial risks through broker channel

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Assess and underwrite risks, including but not limited to SME package, commercial combined, property owner and liability risks
- Review and analyse risk submissions, working with brokers to gather all necessary information for risk assessment
- Provide accurate pricing recommendations and terms following the Company’s underwriting guidelines and business strategy
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as the Underwriting Framework in the business process
- Cert CII or equivalent professional qualification
- Dip CII and progressing towards ACII qualification is preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 years of underwriting experience of SME package, commercial combined or property owner risks
- Knowledge of the UK general insurance market and relevant regulatory practices and legislations
- Proficiency in MS Office package, including Word, Excel and PPT and use of Teams
